The Lionesses hunt

The air is still. The wind blows silently across the wide savannah. The zebras and antilope are grazzing in the tall grass. One of the zebras looks up. I hears something. He stares for a long time into the tall grass. He thinks the sound is gone. he thinks he is safe. Unfrotanitly for the zebra, he is wrong. Feet away from the herd is a lioness named Nala. She is content on getting a meal. She looks at the zebra hers. She inches closer....a few more feet....and.........POUNCE!!! Her prey darts for cover. The zebra thinks he is fast enough. Again he is wrong. Nala is quick. she jumps on the zebra. The zebra shakes her off then quickly trys to get away. Nala darts back up and runs after him. this time she pounces on him and digs her claws ito him. The rest of the herd have left. Nala has a firm grip on the zebra. The zebra trys to shake her off but he falls down. Nala lets go. The zebra quickly trys to get up. Nala is quicker. She sufficates him by biting his neck. the zebra struggles. He can't move. a few seconds later he is dead. Nala's pride quickly come to join her. the alpha male eats first the the alpha female then the rest. Nala waits for her mate to finish so she can be the next to eat. The pride wants to eat before Nala. Nala knows it and the cubs try to take food. nala snarls. She is the dominate female and she is next to eat she makes that clear.

Ooc; Ok, first off; I'm sorry I'm just really into the whole realistic thing. First; In a pride there is only one adult male, yes he gets to eat first but there are no dominants in a pride. Maybe in a pack of canines, but not felines. Second; Ok, maybe there's only one problem...  Ic;
Large white penciled paws scarred the dusty ground. Golden striped pelt twitched as the tom's muscles contracted within his body, slowly making his way toward the watering hole. The dry ground underneath him began to get a little damp, due to the small lake. Black tiped ears flattened against his skull as he crouched down to lap up some water. As his tongue made its way in and out of his mouth, his eyes caught a decieving sight.
A lioness and her pride were chowing down on a zebra carcass alone with their cubs. Being a liger he was different than the pride, but that didn't stop him from barging over. He stalked closer to the pride, licking his white furry lips. He was obviously out numbered, but who could resist even trying when they were as starving as him? Parting his jaws wide, he barred his long canines toward the pride.

Melanie, usually wanting to play with strangers, cowered behind her sisters. Her childish personality prevented her from being confident in dangerous situations. Her ears were held back, and close to her head. Her mouth opened slightly, and curved into a snarl. She was both angry at the intruder for interrupting the meal and scared because she had never seen anything like him.

OOC: Since apparently Saw moved off, I'll just assume he did.
BIC: Melanie, seeing the large male feline move off, cautiously emerged from behind her sisters. Bella, the sensible one, smacked her in the face with her large paw. Melanie jumped out, not wanting to be reprimanded once more. Jessie, the playful yet quiet of the three sisters, ran off, inviting Bella and Melanie to follow. Bella stayed put, her head held high. There was no way Jessie would get her to move. But Melanie was a different story. She dashed up like a cub, and pounced on her smaller sister. Jessie crawled from underneath her bulky sibling and batted her twice with her paws. Melanie fell back and disappeared momentarily in the tall grass. Then, as fast as a lightning bolt, she was on top of Jessie again. Bella remained with her head held high and calm, but she, too, wanted to get in on the fun. But Bella knew that if she wanted to mantain control over her sisters, she must not join in their childish games. After some more batting, tackling, jumping, nipping, and falling, Jessie ran back to Bella and layed down, as if she had never played with Melanie. Jessie knew she could impress both her sisters, so she did exactly that. Bella layed down also, her head still held high. Melanie, nearby, had a look of confusion and sadness on her face, but immediately got out of it and pounced on Nala.

OOC:hi i'm new and this is Raj and he is now a part of this pride is that ok?
IC: The tall grass bent under the weight of a golden brown paw as the male lion made his way toward the pride. Quite the wanderer,Raj had spent some time away from them patroling the territory and now he was hungry. He approaches Nala who was at the kill and growled a bit being the male ,it was the inate rule that males at first. Why? No one ever really knew but that's how it was. Raj didn't was any time chew on the carcass he didn't chase Nala or the other lions. Unlike most males he was willing to share.

ooc: hi i would love to be part of the pack if thats ok
Siara peeks through the tall grass. Being a newborn, she hopes one of the lionesses take her in. She smells the fresh carcass from the zebra kill, and nimbly makes her way towards it. As her head pokes out of the grass, she hears a snarl coming from her left. she looks over and sees a lioness snarling at what seems to be some weird mix of a tiger and a lion. she must be the top lioness! Siara begins to worry what if she doesnt like me...would she hurt me? Siara tries to decide whether to flee or stay, but she doesn't have time to move. The lioness has spotted her....
