Torie lifted her head and blinked in the morning light. She saw her pack mate Saduko had left to hunt and decided to follow. She stretched her legs and neck and then followed his scent...

Torie spotted Saduko waiting for her ahead in a clearing. The two wolves greeted each other, then headed out for a morning hunt.

The lone, female wolf hastened her pace. She had heard the hunt that had just taken place and was eager to find a new pack. Callie stopped once again and listened to the sound of munching. Yes, it must be wolves. Maybe they would take her in. She began trotting briskly up to the territory.

Sadoku suddenly drops the rabbit. he hears footsteaps of a stranger. He darts in the direction of the foot stepts to find a female wolf. He looks at her sternly.

Callie froze in her tracks. Oh no....they had found her. And this big, tough male didn't look too happy about it. She laid her ears back against her furry head, and bared her sharp, white teeth at the male. Hopefully, just maybe, he would perhaps get bored and walk off. But on the other hand, she could be allowed in. A third situation would leave her wounded or winded, because the male might chase her and try to attack. Either way, she was taking a chance.

Sadoku snaps at Callie. He isn't happy. He runs to her ready to attack but he stops in his tracks. Sadoku looks at the scared expression in the wolfs eyes. Sadoku has a flashback of when he was a pup being caught by the poachers. He rembers the scared look he must of had. Sadoku shakes the memory off and gives a cold gaze to the female. He has no compassion for tresspassers. He bares his teeth and snarls. He begins to walk back but again stops to look at Callie. He moves his head to the left telling her to follow him back home.

At first, the large alpha snaps at Callie. She recoils, averting eye contact, and lowering herself close to the ground. Then he chases forward to attack. Callie turns around and tries to get away. Then he gives her a hard stare, and snarls. Then he begins walking away and signals for her to follow. Callie had got herself in without so much as lowering to the ground. She stared at him, puzzled. Then he got up a little higher on her long, thin legs and crept forward, her short ears hiding in her thick fur. Hopefully he wasn't leading her back to a pack ready to kill her.

Sadoku leads the way on the rocky trail home. Hopefully Torie will like this female. If not she can't possibly stay in the pack. He looks back every once in awhile to make sure she is following him.

Roy slowly opened his eyes. He let out a huge yawn. He got up and stretched. Roy looked around. I want someone to play with. Or at least get myself some food. He spotted a small rabbit nearby. Alright just as you were taught. Move in quickly and quietly no sudden movements. Roy slowly moved toward the rabbit. He jumped and sunk his teeth into the rabbit. He smiled, "I did it! I caught myself a rabbit." He picked up the rabbit and went back to his spot looking very triumphant.

A large male awakens from his hiding place, slowly rising as he yawned and stretched. His dull blue eyes scanned around at his surroundings, already searching for his next victim. Stepping out from his newly built den, he stretched once again. Lowering his head toward the slightly muddy ground, he inhaled the unwelcoming scent of others. Had he unwittingly moved into their territory last night in search for shelter? It was a possibility, but Sin thought otherwise.

He sleepily made his way away from the den, nose still low to the ground. As he lazily drug his paws along the ground, he left an obvious trail. His ears drooped as he slowly swurved through the fallen trees and foliage around him. Just half a mile north from the pack, the brute had come across the river that slithered through the territory. Sitting down near the river, Sin slowly crouched down to lazily lap up some refreshing water.

Roy happily ate his rabbit. He was very proud of himself. He looked up to see Sadoku watching him. Roy had a huge grin on his face. He took another bite of the rabbit. Roy looked up again. Sadoku had signaled a hunt and left. Maybe one day I can join in the hunt. I am already getting better at hunting. I just need to be a bit bigger. He then went back to eating his rabbit. So it's true. Food tastes better when you catch it yourself....
